MEAT BALLS (Meat Ball Mix)

1/2 cup milk
3 cup softened bread crumbs
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 lb ground beef

In large mixing bowl beat eggs. Stir in milk, bread crumbs, (about 4 slices), chopped onion, salt and pepper. Add ground beef and mix thoroughly. Chill. With wet hands, shape meat mixture into 6 dozen, 72, 1 inch meat balls. Place meat balls in 2 large baking pans or sheets with edges. Bake at 375 degrees, 25-30 minutes. Cool. Place meat balls in freezer just until frozen. Suggested freezer packageing directions: Package 24 meat balls in 3 containers. Label with contents, amount, and date. Freeze.
