MEAT LOAF IN A BLANKET: (Creamy Sauce Mix)

1 each egg, beaten
2 tablespoon onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon basil or thyme
1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 each pie crusts, 9 inch
1 each egg, beaten
1/3 cup creamy sauce mix
1 teaspoon chicken boullion granules
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 cup sour cream
Combine 1 egg, bread crumbs, onion, basil, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 cup water. Add ground beef. Mix thoroughly. Pat into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees, 40 minutes, drain. Turn oven to 400 degrees. Roll pie crusts into a 16-12 inch rectangle. Trim to 12-11 inches. Turn meat loaf, top side down, onto middle of pastry rectangle. Bring sides and ends up to cover meat. Seal, brushing edges with beaten egg. Place in shallow greased baking pan. Brush remaining beaten egg over all. Bake at 400 degrees, 30-35 minutes. Meanwhile, combine creamy sauce mix, boullion, and dill weed. Stir in 2/3 cups cold water. Cook and stir till thickened. Cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Gradually stir in sour cream. Heat through. Serve sauce with meat loaf.
