Moist Seven Grain Bread Stuffing

1 each stick butter
4 cup celery stalks, diced
2 each onions, diced
12 cup 7 grain bread, cubed
1 each granny smith apple, shreaded
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon dried sage leaves,
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

In 8 quart dutch oven over medium heat, melt butter. Add celery, and onion, and cook until tender, stirring occationally. Remove dutch oven from heat. Add 12 cups cubed 7 grain bread or white, bread. (12 cups cubed bread is 1 24oz loaf). Add apple, water, parsley, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Place stuffing in greased flat baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees, 30 minutes.

Yield: 12 servings
