No Bake Drop Cookies

2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 each stick butter
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/4 cup peanut butter
2 cup quick oatmeal
In heavy saucepan, stir together sugar, and cocoa. Stir in milk; add butter and corn syrup. Bring to boiling, stirring occasionally. Boil vigorously for 3 minutes. Stir in peanut butter, then oatmeal. Return mixture to boiling. Remove from heat. Beat till slightly thickened. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. If mixture spreads to much, beat a little longer. Cool. Store in air tight container.
