Oven Beef Stew

2 lb stew meat, cubed
6 each carrots
6 each potatoes
2 each onions
2 1/4 cup tomato juice (18 oz)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup corn starch
Peel all vegetables. Slice carrots, dice potatoes, quarter onions. Combine with meat in large bowl. Add salt, pepper, tomato juice and corn starch. Mix thoroughly. Place in greased 4 quart casserole dish. Cover, bake at 300 degrees, 4 hours.
