Quick Bread Mix
breads
10 cup flour
1/3 cup baking powder
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoon salt
2 cup solid crisco shortening
In large mixing bowl thoroughly stir together, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Cut shortening into dry ingredients till mixture resembles coarse corn meal. Store in air tight container, up to six weeks at room temperature. Freeze, for longer storage. To measure, spoon Mix into measuring cup. Level with spatula. Makes 12 cups.
