Quick Cranberry Thumb Prints

cookies, fruits

20 oz roll refrigerator dough
1 cup canned whole cranberry sauce
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll 1 roll of refrigerator sugar cookie dough, into 24 1 inch balls. Place balls on cookie sheet. Press thumb into center of each ball. Place 1 scant teaspoon canned whole cranberry sauce into the thumb print in each cookie. Bake 7-11 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Cool slightly before transfering to a rack. Combine powdered sugar and water to make a glaze, and drizzle over each cookie.
