SAUCY BEEF AND CABBAGE: (Ground Meat Mix)

2 cup ground meat mix
1/4 cup water
1 each head cabbage, medium
2 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup sour cream

In saucepan, combine ground meat mix, and water. Cover and cook over low heat, 15 minutes, breaking up meat mixture with fork. Cover and cook, 5 minutes longer. Drain off liquid. Core cabbage, and cut into 6 wedges. In large covered skillet, cook cabbage in a small amount of boiling, salted water, 10 minutes, or just till tender. Drain cabbage well. To make sauce, in medium saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, beef bouillon, celery seed, paprika, thyme, and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook and stir, 1-2 minutes longer. Stir cheese, and sour cream into sauce. Heat through, do not boil. Stir in meat mixture. Arrange cooked, drained, cabbage wedges on serving platter. Pour some sauce over cabbage wedges. Pass remaining sauce, to pour over individual servings.
