SAUERBRATEN STYLE MEAT BALLS: (Meat Ball Mix)

2 cup water
1 cup pineapple juice
2 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
8 each gingersnap cookies
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup raisins
2 tablespoon lemon juice
24 each meat balls
1 pkg noodles, 12oz

In medium saucepan bring water, pineapple juice, and beef bouillon to a boil. Place Gingersnaps in a plastic bag, and crush with rolling pin. (Using extreme care, another effective method of crushing Gingersnaps is to place the plastic bag on the floor and step on the Gingersnaps.) AddGingersnap crumbs, brown sugar, raisins, and lemon juice, to saucepan. Cook and stir till Gingersnap crumbs are almost dissolved. Add meat balls. Cover and simmer 20 minutes, or till meat balls are heated through; stirring occasionally. Serve over hot, cooked noodles, or rice.
