Shaker Chicken Hash

1 3/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon red pepper
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon seasoning salt
2 tablespoon butter
3 1/2 cup chopped chicken
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cold water
Heat broth and add seasonings. Adjust for taste before adding thickening. Shake flour and water together to form thickening. Add gradually to broth. Add chicken, and butter. Hash may be served with Shaker Indian Griddle Cakes, if desired
Yield: 8 servings
