Shaker Chocolate Dessert

4 each squares bitter chocolate
1/4 cup water
4 each egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
4 each egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt

Combine chocolate and water in a sauce pan. Melt together and cool. Beat egg yolks and sugar until pale yellow in color. Add cooled chocolate. Add salt to egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture. Pour into serving dish, and place in refrigerator. When ready to serve, top with whipped cream and small amount of grated chocolate. Rum or coffee liquor can be added for aditional flavoring, if desired.
